Simple Everyday Beauty Tips

Here are some simple everyday beauty tips that will be a great addition to your morning routine!

 BEAUTY TIPS FOR SKIN:
•Who needs a face exfoliator? Scrub your face with sugar 1-2 times a week for constantly soft skin.
•Apply your facial moisturizer in upward moisture to prevent premature wrinkles.
•Pat lemon juice onto face once a week to tighten skin and pores.
•Never rub concealer in, always pat it into face.
•Always buy a moisturizer with SPF added for extra protection.

 BEAUTY TIPS FOR HAIR:
•If you have flyaway hair, Suave leave-in conditioner is inexpensive and works great!
•Run a comb through your hair while in the shower rather than after you get out to prevent breakage.
•If you have thick hair, use a paddle brush to make sure very strand is tangle free.
•No time to shower? Sprinkle some baby powder on your roots to keep your hair from looking greasy.

BEAUTY TIPS FOR EYES:
•Dab a little white or lightly colored eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eyes to instantly brighten them. •Heat up your eyelash curler with a blow dryer before curling your eyelashes to make your eyelashes hold the curl.
•Rub Vaseline or olive oil on your eyelashes at night to grow thick, healthy lashes.
•For the illusion of bigger eyes, focus your mascara on the upper and outer lashes of your eyes.

 BEAUTY TIPS FOR MOUTH:
•Focus your lip gloss in the middle of your lip to give a flirtatious pout.
•Make a paste out of baking soda and water, brush with it once a week for whiter teeth.
•If you use lip liner, make sure it is the same color or lighter than your lipstick, never darker.
•Apply your lipstick in a downward motion to give a 3-Dimensional effect.

That's it! Please comment below if you have any more helpful beauty tips! Until next time, Emma Kay

Wacky, But True!

Wacky, But True!
According to People Style Watch (May Issue), there many wacky beauty tips that are easy to do and are very timesaving.
Here are some of them:

1.) Banana Peel Trick:

-Take a banana peel
-Rub the inside skin onto your face for at least 10 seconds
-The peel is full of skin-softening minerals, so in no time your skin will be ultra soft!

2.) Cold Water Trick:

-When washing out conditioner, rinse out with cold water
-It will make your hair extra shiny
-If blow drying your hair, at the end, press the COLD button for 30 seconds
-This will also increase shiny hair and reduce fly-aways!

3.) Clear Mascara Magic:
-Use clear mascara to keep hair fly-aways in place and looking glossy
-It will also thicken hair and give lift at roots.

4.) Create Your Own Nail Polish Activity:

-Take some of your favorite eye shadow and sprinkle it onto nails while they are still drying.
 -Then add a clear coat.

I hope you like these strange tips! If you have any tips that you would like to share, please comment!
Thanks!

Important Makeup of the Season - Bronzer

In Spring, you're still pale from winter, but with the sun out you don`t want to look white as snow. Bronzer is a girl`s best friend during the spring months until the hot days come. Here are a few amazing bronzers:

Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer

This bronzer has more than one tone which when mixed together gives you an amazing glow. My personal favourite is Hula Hula.

$7, Walmart

N.Y.C. Smooth Skin Bronzer

One of the things that can be annoying about bronzers is shimmer and sparkle which can make it look very unnatural. Sun to Sun is a very popular shade.

$5, Select Drugstores

E.L.F. Contouring Blush and Bronzer

The shade of this bronzer compliments any skin tone and the blush adds to it nicely. It can give you a nice glow and peachy cheeks.

$3, eyeslipsface.com

Hope this article gave you ideas and prepared you for the warmer weather of Spring.

Teens and Acne

As a teenager, I understand how frustrating it can be to have acne. About 84% of teenage girls have low self esteem because of their acne. If you're like me and you struggle with acne, here is a DIY acne mask that I swear by:

 WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (DO NOT USE WHITE VINEGAR)
- 1 tbsp cooled green tea
- 4 tbsp sugar (you can use brown sugar if you have sensitive skin)
- 1 tsp olive oil

Mix together in a large bowl. Apply the mask to your face for 8-15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Use this mask twice a week and you will see results in less than a month. And remember, don't be embarrassed if you have acne, you're not alone!

Good Luck, Emma Kay
